“When you walk into your doctor’s office, the first thing they do- assuming they are even able to diagnose whooping cough correctly in the first place, is to rake you over the coals, if you’ve not vaccinated.
You will be told that, “Your child will be MORE infectious to other people and the symptoms far more serious.” Both of which are untrue, but who’s going to doubt the word of the doctor, other than those of us, who have been there done that, and proven them wrong?
The second thing some parents experience, is being told that… “if they don’t use antibiotics their children will be much sicker.” Which is also a load of bollocks. The reality is the opposite. If you use antibiotics, you can just about guarantee your child WILL BE sicker.”

how do you know what all doctors will say.. you must be amazingly clairvoyant
Because they're mere pharma salesmen following a script.
No cn1, you don't have to be clairvoyant to know what most doctors will say. All you have to do is get emails, phonecalls and visits from people who've been damaged by uneducated, brainwashed doctors. Do you care to say more about why you are choosing to come to IMCV, a site that is highly critical of the medical establishment, and leave a little driveby comment? We, the founders of IMCV are medical doctors, we spent our lives with medical doctors and we still, as MD's can't figure out what besides ego and money keeps doctors practicing the dogmatic and damaging things they've been "trained" to do even as they watch the bad outcomes over and over.
What a load of garbage! My son was diagnosed at 4 weeks of age, he contracted whooping cough from an adult who had not had her booster. Luckily my husband and I had our booster within a few days of him being born and did not then catch it from him! He was hospitalised for one week, given the antibiotics erythromycin, put on oxygen and fed through a drip. Yes, he had the cough for over 100 days but once he was given the erythromycin his condition did not worsen. Given him vitamin C would not have done a thing! Anyone who believes this garbage has either been brainwashed by the hippies or has not experienced their newborn suffering from this terrible illness which is prevented by VACCINATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The doctors treating him never claimed the anti biotics would cure him but when you are in a situation like that, you do what you can and listen to the experts who believe in science.
Dear Boosters. Do you know that the primary reason your son got whooping cough is that adults are vaccinated? Do you know that before the vaccines, the infants were protected and the children got WC, the adults got re-exposed and the infant mortality was lower? And how do you know your son would not have benefitted from vit C? And do you know that boosters for you and your husband often confer NO immunity and that it was probably you being around an infected person who was probably vaccinated that kept you from coughing? We've actually studied the literature to come up with our conclusions. Unfortunately you are probably still believing the newsclips and don't actually understand WHY your 4 week old was infected. Your breastmilk was not protecting him and there is a reason for that.
Dear Boosters,
If your infant was diagnosed at four weeks, that means he was infected at birth. AND you and your husband could have been the carriers who infected him …since most adults who carry the bacteria are asymptomatic.
One more thing “boosters please” Here is a link to a report on vaccinated nurse spreading pertussis in the newborn ward. This was not a problem back when peopel were naturally infected and protected over the long term. Vaccines can provide zero to minimal protection in adults via boosters. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21413529
