Swine Flu (Influenza Type A H1N1)

To understand this situation we need to talk a little bit of mathematics. When I talk about mortality, I will speak of deaths due to either the regular or the swine flu. So, for example, if one country has 1 death for each 500 cases of flu, or 0.2%, and another country has 1 death for each 50 cases of flu, or 2%, the second country has more deaths from the flu (or, 10 times more). It is very important that you understand this, or you will not understand the rest of my newsletter.

On July 16, the World Health Organization stopped the routine reporting on the number of cases per country because country resources were exhausted in a situation where more than 99% of cases recover completely and they stress the importance in concentrating on the unusual cases or in changes on the severity or patterns of propagation. http://www.who.int/csr/disease/swineflu/notes/h1n1_surveillance_20090710/en/index.html

As of JULY 6, 2009 the World Health Organization has released the following figures:

Total reported cases of swine flu in the world 94,000
People that die from it 1 out of 200 cases or 0.5%
According to the CDC or Centers for Disease Control, regular influenza causes death in 1/500 cases or 0.2% in the USA.

This means that the swine flu causes between 2 and three times as many deaths than the deaths due to the regular flu in the United States. It is, therefore, quite clear that the swine flu has a higher chance of causing death, but because there are not many cases yet, there are not many total deaths in the USA yet (only 170). Since there are many more cases of the regular flu, there have been already approximately 20,000 cases of death from it in the USA as of today.

The mortality from the regular flu around the world is 1 per 2000 cases, which is 4 times lower (4 x 500 = 2,000) than the 1 per 500 experienced by the United States. So, the USA already has a much higher mortality from the flu than the rest of the world. This is an interesting finding because it is the same flu virus but, for some reason, people in the USA and Puerto Rico are less resistant to it.

Let’s look into the swine flu mortality figures around the world:

Australia 1 out of 500 cases
Canada 1 out of 300 cases
Mexico 1 out of 100 cases
Chile 1 of 500 cases
England and Spain 1 out of 2000 cases!!!!!

Mortality worldwide is 1 out of 220 cases. Many of these nations have a much lower mortality than the USA from the swine flu to a level even similar to the regular flu! England and Spain have mortalities equal to the regular flu. What do they have in common that the USA does not have?

  • A banning of genetically modified foods which are the norm in the USA and known to cause damage to all biological systems
  • Less obesity and more exercise in the population. The rates of obesity in the USA and Puerto Rico are near 65% in some populations and this is a risk factor for death from any flu. People exercise more in these countries than in the USA.
  • Healthier food. Leave the USA to Europe, Canada, South America and taste their food. Enough said.
  • Homeopathic, nutritional, alternative, complementary and integrative medicines that are part of regular medicine and KNOWN to stimulate the immune system and kill viruses
  • Less stress than the USA
  • Although the USA is #1 in the world in health care costs, it is #31 in health as measured by infant mortality, life expectancy, quality of life, incidence of all diseases, and other factors. That is why the swine flu is hitting our population harder than in other parts of the world

Each nation has a different immune system that is related to all of the above factors. If the information coming from your governments or medical institutions does not address these issues, you are getting only a partial view of the situation which may endanger you and your family as you make crucial decisions about your health.

TO STAY AS HEALTHY AS YOU CAN…

1-Remain calm and happy.

2-Do not get a flu vaccine of any kind. Even when it comes out in the fall. The use of vaccines on the regular flu have not delivered the expected results because of inability to accurately predict the exact strain of viruses that are going to hit the population. The chances of catching influenza A or B virus without a vaccine are 4% and this goes down to 1% if you get the vaccine. Considering that the flu shots contains toxic additives, and you are vaccinating 100 people to benefit 3, I recommend other strategies that will improve your health in an overall sense.

3-Stay as alkaline as you can. The flu promotes acidity and viceversa. The more alkaline you are, the more likely the virus will either not affect you or leave your body faster.

To stay alkaline avoid processed foods and all sugars(sugars depress your immune system immediately), take goji, chlorella, vitamin C and lactobacillus. Read Rejuvenation Protocol (Protocolo Rejuvenecedor) for more details.

4-Take 3000 to 7000 mg of vitamin C daily. Use the Prolysin one or a chewable version from the pharmacies called Good’N Natural

5-Rest and sleep well

7-Wash your hands frequently and use essential oils as often as possible by rubbing on your hands, inhaling deeply and putting inside your nostrils. These oils can also be nebulized in your office, car and home. They are antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal. Use: lavender, pine needle, eucalyptus, Infection Blend, Fem Balance, Stress Blend, Circulation, Pain and peppermint. Use only VMV or Young Living brands.

Although alcohol sterilizes the hands, it evaporates shortly thereafter. Essential oils stay in the epidermis for hours and can continue a lasting protective effect.

8-Wash your hands frequently. This is a good idea even without the flu around!

9-Use an all natural antibiotic for viruses such as colloidal silver. For prevention take a tablespoon a day. When symptoms related to the flu start, take one tablespoon to an ounce 3 times a day. If you have respiratory symptoms, take 5 cc nebulized and inhaled inside the lungs (like respiratory therapy) and inhale the colloidal silver three times a day.

In more than 200 patients we treated with colloidal silver with various pulmonary infections, more than 95% had a resolution of their symptoms promptly with either the oral, nebulized routes or both.

10-Avoid hospitals unless you are very sick. And even if you are sick, the best treatment is NOT TAMIFLU. Tamiflu can make you sick and it only decreases your symptoms by an average of one day in all kinds of flu. This is not the homerun you may have been led to believe it is.

It is not routinely used for any kind of flu so why start now?

11-If you have symptoms, follow all of the above recommendations plus either intravenous sodium bicarbonate, vitamin C or both.

In more than 58 patients I recently treated with the flu, ALL had a more than 75% improvement or clearing of all their symptoms within 2 hours of a single intravenous therapy.

Remember, these intravenous therapies must be done by experts such as Dr. Antonio Espósito in Bayamón, Dr. Joy in Corozal, Dr. Joseph Campos in Guaynabo, Dr. Inés Alfaro in Caguas, Dr. Michael González or Dr. Jorge Miranda from the UPR School of Medicine.
